| GREETINGS! Welcome to the Bates City MO Community of Christ Website! We at Bates City MO Congregation of Community of Christ are some of the friendliest folks you will find around. We are a small but expanding "family" and we are looking for families who want to be involved in a loving family Christian atmosphere. The Bates City Congregation has been blessed with many gifts and talents, and we welcome your giftedness as well. We want to use these gifts to honor our Heavenly Father. We are appreciative of God's GIFT of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ and dedicate our lives to HIM. We know that Holy Spirit works with us where we are in our life's journey and we want to be attuned to His directions. *We are an international Christian church found in more than fifty nations. *We believe that Jesus came to earth and was born of a virgin. *We believe that His life shows us how we as Christians should live, by example. *We believe that He died for us so that we might be forgiven for our sins through repentance, and that through Him, we have eternal life. *We believe that Salvation only comes through Jesus.
